Ross Road Winter Fair

snowflake-header

The Ross Road Winter Fair is Wednesday December 5th from 5-8pm

Our PAC has requested the Grade 4 & 5’s to lead the organization of the annual Winter Fair.
This was a great success last year; lots of fun, crafts, food, shop & wrap, and this is a BIG fundraiser for our school.
Your class reps will be collecting a suggested donation of $10 – $15 to help make this event a success.
Here’s what you can help with now:
  • Donate $10-15 to your class rep – this helps us with purchasing the materials and supplies we will need.
  • Collection for the “SHOP & WRAP” has started. You can bring lightly used or fairly new items from around your home (leave under the stairs in the front entrance).
  • MUNCH – A – LUNCH IS NOW OPEN – order Subway for dinner at the Fair  https://munchalunch.com/login
  • Donate to the Wine basket raffle – if you have a bottle of wine you could donate, please bring discreetly to the school office.
  • All the classes have also been assigned a theme for the raffle baskets. Your class rep may need some help!
  • We need VOLUNTEERS!!!! THE SIGN UP WEBSITE IS COMING EARLY NEXT WEEK.

Movie Night at Ross Road has a New Date – Nov 9th

Movie Night Nov 9

Join us for a fun Family Movie Night in the Ross Road School gym on Friday November 9th. The Ross Road School PAC presents ‘Teen Titans GO! To The Movies’. Come in your PJs with your comfy blankets and pillows, or lawn chairs, to set up in the gym and settle in for this silly animated film feature.

Why? To bring school families together for a fun fundraising event in support of the Ross Road School PAC.

A popcorn and candy concession will be available before the movie. And…if you want to truly take the night off and make it ‘dinner and a movie’, the Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck will be on-site starting at 5:30pm providing delicious warm sandwiches for purchase.

Admission to the movie is by donation to the Ross Road School PAC.

This is a parent supervised event. Students will not be admitted without a supervising adult.

Ross Road School & Teen Titans GO to the Movies!

Friday November 9th

5:30-7:00pm – Food Truck is Open Outside

Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck

Teen Titans GO! To The Movies!

Rated: PG
Length: 1 hour 24 minutes
Type: Animation, Action, Comedy

When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! “Teen Titans GO! to the Movies” finds our egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film extravaganza – a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek play on the superhero genre, complete with musical numbers.
