Want to know what some of the teachers at Ross Road think about the labour dispute?

Come to an informal gathering Tuesday, April 17th at Waves Coffee House (Mountain Hwy and Lynn Valley) from 3:15pm until …you run out of questions.

Get an insider’s perspective about the state of public education as seen through the eyes of those who spend their days with your children. You are welcome to attend whether you have been closely following the media coverage or just wish to become better informed on the issues. Several experienced teachers and staff will be on hand to explain their concerns. Find out why some teachers feel they are taking a stand to protect the quality of your child’s education.

Bring the kids (and their homework) or take turns watching them at the school playground or library. We’ll be there for at least an hour, so feel free to drop in later.

*About Advocacy Ross Road: This group of concerned Ross Road parents came together in March 2011 in response to education budget cuts, believing that a more active role is required to maintain and improve the education delivered to our students. The Ross Road PAC is most supportive of these efforts.
