Only one week to go until the fabulous, famous Ross Road Spring Carnival (Friday June 7, 5-8pm) and we need your help!

Donations for the Kids’ Clothing Sale

If you are spring cleaning your kids’ rooms this weekend, don’t forget that we are collecting gently used clothing and shoes to sell at the Spring Carnival!  This is a great opportunity to clean out those closets! Please no items with stains or holes!

Please drop off items on Monday, June 3rd after school in the lobby.

Don’t forget your mystery bags and cakes for the upcoming Spring Carnival, Friday, June 7!

MYSTERY BAGS: The kids LOVE these and we are dependent on parent-donated mystery bags to make this very popular booth a success. Please donate a couple of bags (or more!) so that every child who wants one has a chance to buy one. Sign-up sheets are be posted in the school lobby! If you can sign up, great, if not just drop off your cake(s) on Friday!

Mystery Bag Station – Spring Carnival 2011

A few helpful hints:

  • Bag contents should have an approximate value of $5
  • They should contain only NEW items
  • The “bag” can be anything you like… brown lunch bag, goodie bag, gift bag – with the contents a mystery!
  • Please label them “intermediate/primary” and “boy/girl”, as appropriate
  • Suggestions include: $5 gift cards (booster juice, DQ, pizza, Starbucks etc), candy, cool school supplies, hair accessories, funky pens, craft supplies, travel games, sunglasses, fun jewelry.

Mystery Bags can be dropped off at the office anytime on the day of the Carnival, Friday, June 7th

Cake Walk Station – Spring Carnival 2011

CAKES: We will be awarding these treats at the VERY POPULAR Cake Walk station.

  • Please drop off a cake, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, or squares at the office anytime on Friday, June 7th
  • Please, “nut free” if possible!
  • Store-bought “baking” always welcome!

The Carnival Committee would like to send out a big “Thank-You!” to all the students, parents, teachers, and staff who came out to the Spring Carnival this year!
 
It was a fun-filled night of games and events, music and treats, and smiles on the faces of children and adults alike!

With everyone’s support and generous donations from the parent and business communities, the Spring Carnival surpassed its fundraising goal of $6,000.00, and raised net proceeds of  $9,800!!!

On behalf of everyone on the Carnival Committee, and the entire PAC Executive, thank-you again for making Spring Carnival 2012 a huge success!

New to the Spring Carnival this year is a Silent Auction! Thanks to the generosity of several Ross Road families, local businesses and organizations we have a wonderful selection of items to bid on!

Here’s a partial list:
