Oh no, not lice again!

Once again we have quite a few cases of head lice at Ross Road. Please check your children’s heads! If you haven’t had experience with lice and/or nits, ask a Pharmacist or a friend for help and suggestions about treatment options.

The school administration and the PAC also have resources and on-line links that may assist you. Click here to view the PAC’s “Lice Advice” page.

School Directory Project: Seeking Volunteers and Advertisers!

First of all, thank you so much for returning your PAC Contact Permission Forms!  (It’s not too late to submit them! Click here for more info!)

Data Entry Volunteers
The School Directory team is looking for a few more parents to help enter all the data on these forms, and also to help with communicating with advertisers. The sooner we get all the data entered, the sooner we can get email lists to the Class Reps and get the the Directory published, so we’d really appreciate a few extra helpers!

If you are interested, and have some experience with spreadsheets, editing/proof-reading and Excel/Word, please contact Lynda Faivre-Duboz as soon as possible at: rrpacdirectory@gmail.com

Advertising in the School Directory
The School Directory is a great opportunity to advertise your business or service, and support your children’s school at the same time! There are several different ad formats to choose from, ranging from a business card size to a full page ad.

Please email rrpacdirectory@gmail.com for more information.

Thank you for your support!

Minutes from the May 25th 2011 PAC General Meeting

In advance of the PAC General Meeting on Wednesday, September 28th, here are the Minutes from the May 25th General Meeting.

Click the link to view the Minutes in PDF form:
Minutes – PAC GM May 25th, 2011 (Unapproved)

PLEASE NOTE: These minutes are “Unapproved”
Here’s why:

  • As we move with technology and the new pace of life, we are making changes to how and when information is shared with our parent population.
  • PAC now has fewer General Meetings per school year than we have had in the past, and we are communicating much more via internet and email.
  • Moving forward, we will post minutes from General Meetings on our website BEFORE THEY HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND ACCEPTED at a general meeting.
  • Therefore, these minutes are NOT the final version and some content may change during the next PAC General Meeting.
